Characteristics:
Bay laurel oil is a clear to greenish yellow mobile liquid with a camphoraceous, fruity and herbaceous smell. It blends well with clary sage, cypress, juniper, labdanum, lavender, olibanum, pine, rosemary, citrus and spice oils.
Principal Constituents:
These are naturally occurring in the essential oil.

- methy chavicol
- linalool
- methy eugenol
General Actions:
Anti-rheumatic, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-septic, diaphoretic, diuretic, emmenagogue, hypotensive, sedative, stomachic.
Safety:
Bay laurel oil may cause dermal irritation, dermatitis, or skin sensitization and should always be used in dilution. Bay laurel oil can be narcotic and should not be taken internally or in pregnancy.
Primary Therapy Agent:
Treatment for colds and flu, tonsilitis, congestion and cough, dyspepsia, flatulence, loss of appetite.
Secondary Therapy Agent:
Amenorrhea, irregular period, depression.
