Characteristics:
Sweet annie essential oil is a yellow to brownish green liquid of medium consistency with a sweet, spicy anise-like aroma. It blends well with jasmine, lavender, oakmoss, and sweet orange oils.

General Actions:

Safety:
Sweet annie may cause sensitization or contact dermatitis in sensitive people. Because sweet annie oil can suppress immune function, people on immunosuppressive drugs or with compromised immune systems should not use sweet annie oil. Women who are pregnant or nursing should not use sweet annie oil.
Primary Therapy Agent:
Catarrh, fever, intestinal parasites, malaria, respiratory congestion, viral infections, wounds.
Secondary Therapy Agent:
Indigestion, insect repellent, delayed or painful menstruation.
