Yarrow Essential Oil

$16.68

The yarrow herb was used as a panacea in medieval Europe to treat ailments ranging from indigestion to nervous exhaustion. Europeans also used the foliage in poultices to speed the healing of open wounds. In both Europe and Asia, yarrow was considered a lucky herb that could ward away evil. The Chinese also used dried yarrow stalks to cast and read the I Ching, an ancient divinatory text. Yarrow is still listed as a medicinal herb in many European pharmacopoeias.
